Lordell is one of the most gifted individuals I have had the pleasure of working with. His analytical mind, empathy, and problem-solving skills set him apart in the year that I worked closely with him at Capacity.
As a product marketer, Lordell’s value lied in his ability to not only understand the technical aspects of our artificial intelligence product, but connect those features to what our customers wanted and needed - as well as explain those features in a way that got our users excited about the product launches. In fact, in my role as a design researcher, I would often start projects by talking to Lordell about our users since he valued and understood them so deeply.
As a person, I think the quotation that Lordell displayed on Slack says it all, “Listen with the intent to understand.” The underpinnings of what made him so apt for product marketing goes beyond technical know-how, it is a genuine desire to treat people with dignity and respect. Any organization would be lucky to have such a talented and caring person work with them.
