I'm a curious person, and an explorer by nature. Originally from Topeka, Kansas, I like new experiences, new people, and new perspectives, and when something grabs me, I go deep. I think of myself as a generalist, but the kind whose interests lend to each other. Exploring, for me, has looked like going to Cuba alone with no cell service, letting the trip decide where I'd go next. Going deep looks like twenty thousand hours at the piano. Those instincts meet when I build: knowing how to carry a crowd through an emotional journey is the same as designing an experience people genuinely enjoy moving through. Away from the work, I'm usually outside, among trees, on a trail.
